This is my latest cab. It is a green Catseye Obsidian from Davis Creek. It is 2-1/2" tall. Here you can see the catseye move across the cab as I rotate it. Bob

Is this chatoyance or asterism? Anyway, it is breathtakingly beautiful.
Did you know from start it was like that, or did you notice while making it? Does it need a high dome to outline the star?

Gingerkid, Davis Creek is in far Northeastern California near the town of Alturas. Adrian, This feature is called chatoyance. Nate, This cab is 3/4" wide and 3/8" thick. Bob
