I bought this little piece of Boulder Opal at a yard sale a year ago for 1 dollar. Finally got brave enough to cab it. I like the way it came out. Even the photos show the fire inside. All the fire is deep blue or purple. I didn't realize there is a heart in the middle until just now. what do you think? Amy

That is beautiful, you did good. I like how you kept the wire simple and let the stone speak for itself. Don't get me wrong, I love your weaves and swirls but this cab just screamed let me do the shining.

Diane, exactly what I thought. I try to match the wrap to the stone. Some stones are simple and the wrap becomes the art itself with an accent from the stone. Where other stones can stand alone and just need a little accent from the wire.
With the sparkle in that one, I tried to cover as little of the stone as possible. the stone is the star of this one.

The first time I looked at this one I thought, beautiful wrap on a ok stone. Then I realized my monitor was tipped back and the flash wasn't showing. I have since rectified the problem and now cab see what a beautiful piece that is! Great job!........gr

Wow Amy, that is a beautiful wrap! You are brilliant in the fact that you left that wonderful stone free of distratctions and put your artistic ability above and beside the stone. You took a gorgeous cab and made a perfect wrap out of it! ~K
