Just got back from Sedona Az. I took several pieces I've done. I tlked to several galleries over there (I'm in So. Cal.). Had very good responces from the galleries I talked to. I'm now in 2 different ones there. One in Talqapaki (sp?) a high end shopping "village". Kind of hard to describe if you've never been there. A Spanish/Mediterranian "village" with lots of high end galleries & Restaurants etc. At Red Canyon Collections & in the Village of Oak Creek. At Oak Creek Indan Traders. www.sedonajewelryandart.com/visit-our-gallery-in-tlaquepaquewww.sedona.tv/oakcreekindiantraders/oak-creek-indian-traders-sedona.htmI decided against a couple of others though. I didn't "hit it off" with the owners. Or they just didn't seem like my kind of folks. The Turquoise Tortoise was interested in some pieces & I may put some there in the future. They are a very high end gallery been there 40 years & might get some prety high prices they quoted me for the pieces they liked(I just wonder how long that would take in this economy?) All in all it was a very plesant & exciting trip. I guess only time will tell. I took the first step & put my work out there. Now to see if it sells well. Keep your fingers crossed for me LOL!!!! Thinking of going to Scottsdale in Oct. or Nov. (when it cools off a bit LOL). To see if I can get into some of those galleries. I've got to make some more stuff first though. The others took most of what I have done now LOL. Mike

Well deserved Mike. Congrats! I have been to Sedona and know exactly the kind of places your work is in. I feel Sedona is a good fit for you and they are lucky you made the trip!

Congratulations, but you know what I always say -- the sale is not closed until you've collected the payment. I never had very good luck actually collecting payment due from stores; here's hoping your luck is better than mine!

I've been to Sedona as well and I think that will be a great fit. It is a very high class area and money did not seem to be a problem to many of the travelers going there. Your work speaks for itself, you are very talented. Congrats.
