Amazing capture, both trout and rocks.
The picture with the trout in the front and the scenery in the background is artistic!

Curt, actually I was thinking about you, Mel, Sands and all those suffering such a hot and dry summer. I sincerely wish I could give you such a deliciously cool morning. (and a trout dinner)

Oh that is a wonderful day, I love fishing and then finding the beautiful rocks is icing on the cake. I have a bit of an edge as we have a pond in our yard stocked with bass and bluegill. I get to fish often and there's nothing like a good fresh fish dinner, but it's even better on a river like that.

Nothing like a brown, cutt, and bow all in the same water. Good Job. Suprised there's not more coloration on that brown.

Fossilman, I do love it here. Could have made a much better living elsewhere, but I decided long ago that better living isn't always money... Tim, actually it is 4 "bows and a brown. it was still low light when I took the photo and the flash washed out the color a bit. The browns will color up in late Sept. before they run. In our rivers, all cutts are catch and release as they are in danger of being pushed out by the non-native species. They are allowed to be harvested in lakes and some mountain streams. Here is what the cuts here look like. (fish at top is a grayling, also only harvested from lakes)
