I really like how these Contra Luz Opals look water clear until the light comes in the side. Killer effect. They take people by surprise sometimes. My wife is a bartender so there have been times when she has turned to get the fixings for someones drink and all of a sudden her pendant comes alive. Definite attention getter. So here is what I cut this morning. Much smaller then the last one and the wheels got my fingernails making this one, 15.5mm x 11mm x 7mm 7.05ct ![](http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/christopherlesso/CABOCHONS%20FOR%202011/ContraLuzOval.jpg)

Me like. How does it compare durability-wise to Australian. Do you have to take care not to overheat/dry out?

I treat them just like I do the Australian ones.
