I promise, no more photos after these.
These are of a display case showing the Dendritic Agate that was found on the Snyder ranch. In the past they had field trips during the show but the last couple years there were no trips. Now that the Snyder family is no longer sponsoring the show (it was moved to the adjacent Coe ranch) there probably will be no further digging at the site.

Here are a number of photos of slabs of Bumblebee Jasper. I let the slabs dry before taking the shot and in all the slabs there was a line of soft pits along most of the brighter bands of yellow color.

I had hoped at some point to find one that was free of these pits but I wasn't successful. Many dealers had this material in the rough and as slabs.
I did see some really super slabs of Ocean Jasper. Pricey as expected.

A few dealers had this stuff. It seems to hold a good interest even if it doesn't polish very well.

I couldn't resist getting a slab of Piharana Agate for a big cab.

A dealer had these jars of Holly Blue Agate. It is getting very scarce especially in this quality and size. These jars were one pound at $95.

A nice slab of Kambaba.

Super Red moss.

Ruby in Zoisite

A really good slab of this but a bit pricey, I think.

Another great Moss.
![](http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s160/Rocksbob/IMG_0146-1.jpg)
Some slabs of rarer material.
![](http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s160/Rocksbob/IMG_0149.jpg)
Sure wish I could afford this one - a rare slab of Blue Mountain
![](http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s160/Rocksbob/IMG_0151.jpg)
Quite a few dealers had slabs of Cherry Orchard. Its something that I haven't seen around much until recently.
![](http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s160/Rocksbob/IMG_0153.jpg)
Bumblebee rough.
![](http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s160/Rocksbob/IMG_0154.jpg)
I was devastated! On the first day I had my first taste of this stuff. Shock Top Belgian style wheat ale with citrus peels and coriander. I loved it. It is milder than regular beer and has a fruity smooth taste. They sold out in the middle of the second day!!! I had to stoop down to drinking budwiser. Shame on them!!
![](http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s160/Rocksbob/IMG_0155.jpg)
Overall the show was fun for me but many dealers didn't like the heat, dust and very rough walking surfaces. Many prople complained of the same things. On older gentleman tripped and whacked his head real bad. The sponsors got the message and they promised to ensure a smoother surface and less dust next year. The heat will be the same, though - mid to high 90's. They did have plenty of seating in the shade at the food and beer vendors.
See ya there next year??
