This years Labor Day weekend show was a lot of fun. Here's some of what we found. Slabs This is some Mojave Pastellite Interesting AZ wood, small dino bone Some Interesting red orby stuff from the spider web rhyolite claim featherstone fossil, and polkadot More polka dot one cab wonders Fossil goodness for one of Elizabeths planned projects. Rough... We went through some buckets our freinds were selling for $1/ lb. It was fresh from an astate and unsorted. First the highlights: Rainbow and gold sheen obsidian, A big 1 inch plus thick slab of mossy rainbow wood Arkansas Stone (Novaculite) and colorful Brecciated stuff And the rest, some jade, tree agate, t-eggs, etc etc. Oh, and the chunk of obsidian on the left front has FIRE in it, I noticed that after taking pics. Oh yeah, we also got some Morocco Berber agate, I'll post slabs later after I finish cutting. Lee

Some real super cabbing material! I believe the Pastellite is also known as Chapenite. Bob

I went to that same show on Saturday. It was hot and windy! I only got a few things, but the things I did get were all things I'm totally happy with. I'll have to post up.
Dang, you bought a lot of rough! I usually only get polished pieces and mineral specimens because I don't have any cutting or polishing gear besides the tumbler.
Nice, nice buys! I hope the prices were nice also!
