I noticed a lot of vultures circling my pond back of my place yesterday.Went and took a look. This is why.About a dozen bass skeletons in the couple lb range. Found one left that I could tell. One hole of water and mud a few inches deep.Ducks act bewildered! snuffy

It was about 7 foot at the deepest. There was never a problem keeping it full,a huge watershed area, but nothing to run off.

Toad,it is interesting how the patterns go. Our driest year on record was 1917 before this one. Then 50 years or so later,Iwas in elementary school,8 years old, when it finally rained to end the 50's drought, which was the second worst. They let us out of class to wade in the parking lot.Now,50 or so years later, here we are,Idont think I'll be around to see the one in2060.

Oh man, that really is a sad sight snuffy. It hurts to see those bass dying off. Sure hope things take a turn for the better soon.
