Kevin - They are 10" or 15" mostly. And they can cost $300 plus. I got a 10" Raytech used for only $100, but you can't buy parts any more for that model, so I have to fabricate some things, mostly springs or rubber balls.
If you can get a used Gy-Roc Model A vibe tumbler, the one with the 10lb bowl, then you can get a 10" lap pan to put on top for only $68. Model A's generally sell used on ebay for about $140, and cost $350+ new. What a deal, polish rocks and flat-lap at the same time!
I got a model A for only $50 because it needed a new bowl. SO I got a $20 bowl and a $10 lid. I think I did real good for $70 and some shipping. (Of course, for some reason, it has been sitting empty in my living room for 4 weeks ... but). I plan to get a pan in the future. No rush since I got they Raytech.
