I decided to take some plans I found on the internet to the metal shop at my school. They immediately created a few wetters for me. I asked the teacher if he thought he could make a few more to use as a fund raiser and he said he could. If anybody is interested, the wetters are all brass and are $13 shipped. If you need two, they will be $22 shipped.
The bad news is that he will need a week to get the brass in so they won't ship until next week. The dimensions are roughly 1x1x1. An example is below. They work very well. PM me if interested.

Looks pretty good. Have you tried these out? If so, what machine did you try them out on? What was the spray like? How long is the stem that comes out where the hose attaches?
I have an extra commercial one I use under my Genie wheels but it does not spray very high because the droplets are too large and the plastic hose is a bit short. What kind of air pump are you using, how high does the geyser spray and how long is the plastic hose?......Mel

That is one of my concerns with this one Mel. I Use a Genie and a Pixie and the hole on this spritzer looks a little large. I wonder if My DP machines would be able to pump hard enough for these to be any use to me.
I have a very similar design but they are shorter to fit under wheels that are closer to the bottom of the drip tray. I use a dual output aquarium air pump for mine; puts out a lot of spray. Bob
I'll put a video up a little latter today. If anybody has any suggestions for improvement or specific needs, I am sure they can incorporate those too. Thanks for the interest.

A spitter with an angled base would be a good addition. You need the angled base to put water on end laps and buffs on Genies and other machines that can use them.

Here is the video. You'll notice I took a couple of suggestions already and put a brass nipple on the top as well as a brass air intake. The nipple is in case somebody wants to reduce the spitter hole (by pinching it). The intake was just because I wanted it to look nicer. In the video, I start with my hand about 4" over the spitter and then I move it to about 3" above the spitter. I couldn't get any shots of it on my wheels because of the lighting and using an iphone for a camcorder. You get an idea of how much water is thrown. I can make the spitter hole any size and retest here if you don't think it throws enough water. I am using a small aquarium air pump...$6-8.

6 have been sold so far. Again, I am just the middle man (and the person tinkering with the kids' work). All profits go to the school metal shop (which I am not in charge of)...just trying to help the shop while providing a less expensive alternative to fellow hounders. Thanks for trying them out. Scott
I use the brass geysers from Kingsley North ($14.50) and a dual aquarium pump from Petco. It is a hogh volume air pump with a dial on the top to regulate the air. It puts out a significant burst of water on the wheel, far more than any Genie pump could ever do! Bob
