Hi, I didn't even know you sold on ebay, it's always good to see you at shows. I don't buy much on ebay anymore mostly because of how they treat sellers, the horrible fees.

Hi everyone and again I want to thank you all for your input. I have read over the thread and it looks as if it is turning into a great resource. However I think it best that sellers especially those sellers who have been entered on this list please refrain from any negative comment about another seller that is entered on the list. This type of commentary only leads to the need for the other seller to have to defend him or herself. Please, that is not the purpose of this thread, and to some such comments might look a bit self serving. Also please try to when ever possible specify something about the seller that makes him worthy of a position on the list. Thanks again for the feedback Stu

Yeah, I don't do much ebay buying, but Mary Ann and Ralph and Tony Catman have always treated me well, with really good quality. (was gonna say something earlier but I wasn't sure if this was an all-ebay thread). Also Jamie (desertdweller) is the source for Chrysocolla. Jo

Yes Jo, This thread is all about learning who is a great source for getting great material. If they have the goods put em up on the list and if they are part of the RTH family please indicate that in your post as i am sure we all would like to patronize our own when ever possible Stu

I too have a few (favorites), one sells rough, for those looking for good quality material to SLAB!! that would be Gemmy's www.gemmys.biz/index.htmAnother I deal with on line and off would have to be Zippy. Zippy is a another good friend of mine that sells quality slabs and rough on Ebay, the variety of material from this guy is just remarkable, he seems to have an endless supply of Wingate, top shelf. myworld.ebay.com/zippyrocks&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID&_trksid=p3984.m1543.l2533Another I like to deal with on Ebay is a member here on RTH, rocky-pebbles, every slab I have ever got from them has been very nice and the quality has been outstanding. myworld.ebay.com/rocky-pebbles&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID&_trksid=p3984.m1543.l2533I have alot of sources for slabs, if one of them have something I like, I buy it. I have bought from some of the people that were mentioned earlier in this post and paid an arm and a leg for them as I have bought slabs from people not mentioned, for way less, come to find out they buy from the same dealer. I think it comes down to the relation you build with your supplier, I have had good luck with my favorites, you may not and like wise.

Wow the list is certainly growing:) I just got a new light ten/light kit and I thought I would test it out on a piece of Morrisonite that I just got today from Idaho Premium Gems. The first picture is the one that I took about an hour ago with the n ew light tent. The other picture is one that I copied from the listing for the piece of Morrisonoite on Ebay. The picture on Ebay looked so good I wanted to see if the piece was as nice in person. The only enhansement to the picture that I took was spit.LOL I wanted to wet the slab and Morrisonite tastes soooo good:) Here is my shot: Here is the picture off of the Ebay listing: What do you think? The colors in the Ebay picture looks fairly close to the colors on my picture. Maybe d over at Idaho Premium Gems used spit as well LOL. Stu

Sorry Stu, nothing to add to your list, being a newb, most resources have been used on equipment. I also live in 1 of the most mineralized areas of the U.S., and enjoy collecting my own. Have also horse traded for other's unwanted rock collections, estate sales, etc.. It's been a good year in the stone age...
