I found this place simply by luck and chance at: iwantarock.com/category.phtml?CategoryID=7 In fact, if it weren't for this place, I don't think I'd really care about rock tumbling at all right now. How did the rest of you guys find out about this place? I think the information might be useful to help us better recruit new members.

I did a search on MSN for Rock tumbling supplies, and just started clicking on the different sites.

I found the site doing searches for any and all combinations of "rock, polish, tumbling, lapidary, and hobby". Hit Andy's site back before the days of "The Board". Thought it looked good so I kept an eye on it, and here I am.

I did a google search on "rock tumbling instructions" and liked what I saw on Andy's site just before he started the board. Then he started this message board and..........

I found this by accident and liked what I saw and found a lot of support from the members here. I feel like the members here are my "rock brothers and sisters" Perhaps someday I will be able to meet some of my extended family. I check the site as often as I can and learn from it nearly every time

googled it trying to find a kit for my toy tumbler, I honestly didn't even think that there was such a thing as 'real' rock tumblers, at least not that weren't industrial and mega expensive
