Born yesterday...very large blue heelers - mom is a red heeler & blue heeler mix - dad is full blue... They are white when born except for the black markings & masks - body color starts coming in around 3 weeks, in order #1 - #5: boy, boy, girl, girl, boy

Total labor/delivery started at 3am finished 2pm then a quick trip to the vet - Mom had a very tough time with #5, who was the largest pup, and breach... and I noticed about an hour later, Mom wasn't breathing properly... Both Mom and babies are all doing fine now - Mom was low on calcium and had somehow developed pneumonia of all things - vet thinks she probably swallowed water down the wrong pipe and pneumonia set in...

It is good that you caught it and got her to the vets! Looks like the puppies are all healthy! I was going to say those pups don't look anything like the mom but I read what you wrote and learned something new! Very cool dogs!
