Here's a new one I did while I had my wrapping stuff out for the roaming wire thread. I really like the depth the tigerseye adds to the piece.

when you make a ring do you have to drill a hole in the stone?

Nope. Totally held in by the wires. Some people add a little epoxy to the back for extra insurance but the wire should do it all (and some feel it's cheating).
Awesome job! Jo

thanks for all the nice compliments! I cabbed up the tigers eye ages ago and just never got around to setting it. Glad I used it in this ring.
Stasiak, there's no hole, Jo is right on; nothing holding the stone but wire.

Now thats a wrap that a man could wear. How long did it take you to do that wrap? It is fantastic
Stu
PS I went to your site but I didn't see any rings. What would a ring like this one sell for?

Hi Stu, thanks for visiting the site, I haven't updated it since I started doing rings, I'll have to get some up there. I've got this wrap down to where I can get'er done in under 2 hours. There's 60" or so of wire in it . I'd want $60-$65 for a ring with a similar stone in it, On thing about this design that may not be obvious from the pictures is that it is adjustable, the band folds in on itself under the stone so it can be sized to any finger with a little tweaking.
