Heading to AZ for the Winter will be staying in the St. David area. Does anyone in the group have information on collecting sites in the area. have been told there are desert roses by the Apache Powder Plant but nothing else. Looking for materials to cut and cab.

I would also recommend picking up any of the AZ rockhounding books - you can get them pretty cheap on amazon.com. They have pretty much all of the known locations in AZ. Rockhound's Guide to AZ, AZ Gem Trails, & Minerals of AZ by Bearce.
