Well, here it is, without slide base. With slide base. I threw a quarter in for size comparison. Now if I can just get the blasted software installed correctly, I can start playing with my new toy.

Any other computers in the house with a different version of Windows?

Got 2 more laptops and a desktop. All belong to the wife, and are in her sewing room.
I can bring pics up now, but can't capture them for posting.

I’m on a Mac, Jake. When I click the shutter, it drops the image file right on the desktop and opens it (instantly) in my regular image viewing program. So there’s two images/windows onscreen, the one from the camera and the pic I just took.

I have a Sony VAIO. Instruction book says that if the program won't load, locate the compact disc drive and double click on the setup exec. file. I've been all over this computer, and can't find the file they're talking about. I may have to contact Sony tech support.

Longshot: Check the CD-ROM to see which version you have.
The original 1.0 covered Windows 98,Me, 2000, XP, and Vista. The updated version 1.1 is compatible with Windows 7.

I have the updated version. I get to the point where I get a message to connect the camera. When I click the continue button, I get the same message after a few seconds. I've tried 3 different USB ports with the same results.

That's a Mac screen. I don't get the same screen. If that's the menu screen that's supposed to come up while uploading the program, my computer won't allow it to come up. All I get is the first screen, showing that the program is uploading, followed by the message to connect my camera which is already plugged in, with the LED's lit.

Don, You should be able to find the setup exec. file by browsing the cd in windows explorer. Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Windows Explorer. In the left side of the screen, browse to your cd, click on it. If the file is not showing in the file/directory list in the window to the right side of screen, look for additional folders on the cd and open them, it may be in there. Also, you might want to unplug the camera when you load the program. Wait to connect the usb when it prompts you to. Bill

Thanks Bill. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Mama hasn't seen my new toy yet. Gotta wait until she leaves for work in the morning. Want to have it up and running before I let her see it. She'll probably want to use it for threading needles. lol

Nope. Mama had the weekend off, and stayed home. Had to keep it hidden a while longer. Did find a tech support site for the toy though.

No, don't think so. Wish I could afford one of those high tech toys.
