Geodes are what started my interest in rocks . Deedolce`s wrapped geode got me sparked to open some . here is a local smoky quartz , very sparkley, facet grade , i ground the edges a bit, perty much ready to wrap ! i dont wrap though ;D left Click on pic to start video

Cool ! Donnie . That will be awesome ! Yeah , Dee, True story , ive got geodes laying around the rockgarden , in buckets , boxes, drawers , i need to get to cracking and cuttin , and your wrap made me realize a use for them other than shelf peices .

I have recently become addicted to cutting open the little geodes too!! I got some Occho Pendee's....and just cant wait for a pretty day to get to cutting them!!

Very cool! I probably got stared on Berkeley Hills thundereggs and nodules but I still remember my first geode I found in my grandpa's driveway gravel in Oklahoma. As a kid I loved them hollow sparkly nodules and still do......Mel
