Brent, there are a couple truck stops in town that should have showers. And if you camp at an RV park most will have facilities as well (Desert Gardens does). Dry camping on BLM land is probably the cheapest bet, but there are a plethora of options in quartzsite...

There is a laundry/shower (for a fee) in town. We used to camp behind the Texas Bar B Que (next to Silly Als's. It was $5 a night and they had restrooms and showerts I think. We were always in an RV.

I camped out behind Desert Gardens last year. I think it was $50 for a week. They have showers and laundry.

I will be there about the 3rd week in January.I'm bringing my son this year and will most likely be staying right over the Cal. border in Blythe.Plenty of motel rooms there and about a 20-30 minute ride to Quartzite.

I looked into Blythe and it seems reasonable at several motels. In anyones experience are there any (giant California) roach hotels to be avoided there. Stayed at the super 8 in Prescott several years ago and it was pretty bad.

Lee,I stayed at the Super 8 in Blythe and my only complaint was a fridge that didn't work. They also didn't charge my credit card until four months later.

I'll be there for all of January before I go to Tucson. Christopherl1234, Do you have contact info for the dry camping behind Desert Gardens? We've always boondocked near Dome Rock but a week or so of something closer would be nice.
