It's going to be another week and a half before I can get back to the barn to finish it, but will post when I do. Hopefully, by that time I will be a bit better on the new camera.

Couldn't decide whether to start a new thread with this or augment the old one. I'm doing the augment because I think it will be interesting to compare the photo quality. Anyway, this is how I spent the blizzard... This is my homemade version of the light box. And the cab Admittedly, I need to work more with the box, but the color and design came through pretty well! Overall, I'm very happy with the box and the results...and I was able to get the flat spot out of the top of the rock! Much learned on this one and I thank you all for all of the help!

Nice cab. I like the light box too. The felt is a nice plain background thats does not pull your attn form the cab.

Nice improvement with your home made light box. What type of bulbs are you using? Stu

Actually, it's a double bulbed art lamp that was bought in the early 70's and probably has the original bulbs. The first is a circular flourescent that was supposed to be full spectrum and the other, I think, is incadescent...not sure of the wattage. It was convenient to use at the time and I was messing around with the height which determined the level of light. It is a hooded lamp and I like using it because it is pretty easy to manipulate because it is a floor lamp on an adjustable arm.
