This is especially for Mel I had removed all the rough from this stone and was in the process of splitting in down the middle when I saw the face of the hawk. The only shaping that I did after that was to put the small indentation at the back of the beak. Ain't nature neeet. Jim

Wow that is super cool and it does not take much imagination to see the hawk head either. Plus, the fossils themselves are pretty darn neat too.....Mel
