good golly Brian I thought I was having good luck now I see I'm walking over more than I'm finding ! I'm with Ted on that brecciated and that yellow stuff ! I found that small piece have you cabbed piece you can show? have you ever found any carnelian in the phoenix area? I found a piece but not sure of the location now its posted in the Halloween thread I think it was from 32nd St & Wood Ave rock field 1/8 of a mile south of I-10 Finally cooling off so the Salt River needs a scanning Rock on

Those are some great finds. When I look at the 10th picture from the bottom I see what looks like the face of a Pug of a guy with a foo manchu beard in the small red rock in the upper right corner.

How depressing!!!! Most of the stuff that I find like that here in WY is fractured real bad. Too much freezing up here. You have some awesome finds there. Jim

those larger rocks your finding are they coming from 1 prominent location ?
I never found a large agatty type rock yet all the larger stuff is either basalt or that white/green spotted stuff
hopefully it will rain Saturday morning rocks on the storm
