My neighbor is a Major in the National Guard who served two tours in Afganistan. On his last tour he picked up a Black Tourmaline crystal. Recently he asked me to make something for his wife for their anniversary. This is what I came up with. I rounded and polished the end and put a cap on the top. Bob  |

Wow. I like that. I have several friends who have Black Tourmaline as a protector stone...I am going to keep your design in mind. You really honored the stone and the concept.

Beautiful pendant!
I like the dome polished bottom end of the crystal.
Do those small silver claws hold the stone themselves, or have you glued it for safety?

Adrian,
Because the sides of the crystal were totally vertical to the piece I had to glue the cap on. In a few spots I could crimp the gallery bezel up against the stone.
