I have a couple lbs of Dino bone (I'm obsessed and can't get enough of the stuff) I'm trying to tumble. I figure since Dino varies pretty greatly in consistency and tendency of intercellular matrix to undercut I'd be rolling the dice as to whether or not I'll get good results.
It's an ugly piece of brown with an occasional blue cell, and it does appear to be undercutting the matrix after a little over a week in the 60/90.
Has anyone successfully tumbled this material, and any suggestions for dealing/adapting with the undercutting on this piece? Won't be heartbroken if it's not meant to be, but itd be cool to get some tumbled Dino. Maybe the undercutting will minimize with some extra time in the finer grits?

Nope, I wanted to tumble some for the kids and the cell walls undercut very badly even in the vibe starting with fine grind. Just don't think it's suitable to tumble because most of it undercuts a bit even on wheels.....Mel
