This has been fun and I already have plans for the next. Keep your eyeballs peeled.
As I see it a lot of people here like a good contest so I have decided to start one. This is going to rely on EXTREME honesty. There are a lot of people here that find rocks in their yard or driveway and while I am happy for them I truly feel sorry for the people that have to drive long distances to pick up a nice rock to work. Soooo, I am giving away a small box of rocks to the person that has to drive the longest distance to pick up a workable rock. This is where the honesty comes in. PM me with the distance to the "nearest" location from your house where you can pick up a workable stone. Do not fudge on this because the god of chalcedony will get you in the end. lol Not sure about a time limit on this. Pass the word so we can get everyone's miles in three or four days. I am anxious to get the box sent off and make someones day. A winner will not be announced by me although I will post that a winner has been picked. Then one day soon someone will receive a box out of the blue with some WY rock. They will then take a photo of their new rocks and wet pants and post it here. lol I would say good luck but no good luck involved, only bad luck for having to drive so far.

I am so excited about this you would think that I was the one winning the box. Here is what is being sent. I do not know what the winner has for tools so I am sending slabs instead of rocks. There are a couple of other stones that I wanted to send but there is no more room. Guess I will have to think of another contest. I have received so much help here that I want to give back something but I can not send to everyone. The next contest will give everyone an equal chance.
