Howdy folks, Just want to shout out a big ole thank you to rocpup ( who actually might be a distant relation). he sent me a fantastic box of weird agates and such which of course, I really love and some was even orby which I love even more. It's hard to find materials that I've never seen before but Don managed to find a pile of them from down Yuma, AZ way. Anyway, here are a couple of pics of just a bit of the cool stuff in the box ( sized for my saw too which is very cool!)....Mel One of my favorites, kind of a strange mini sagenite agate in pinkish and greenish tones. Cool orbicular agates. He included several varieties. My favorite from the faced pieces. Some of the uncut hunks look to be maybe even nicer.

Nice stuff Mel. I might have some agates that you have not seen before also. How big is your saw? I will send some small end cuts if you are interested. Jim

Thanks for the offer Jim but you know, I have more rough than I'll ever cut or tumble in a lifetime and have several trades in the works right now for more. *L* There are folks here that live in areas that are not so rock rich as the rest of us. I'd rather someone get it who has the time to cut it and post pics so we can all enjoy them. I'm spending so much time with horses now and sawing rocks is so darn slow that my saw is backed up so bad I'll have trouble getting through the stuff stacked on my table in the next year. Again, thanks for your generosity though....Mel

Nice, unusual material! That first one is really wild looking, and the last one is a super color combo.
