Found a site that contains the current land status. With all the expansion of wilderness areas along with renewable energy sites going on, suggest you make sure it's legal to visit your favorite Gem Trail sites. Just the other day the federal government approved a high speed rail line from LA to Las Vegas and the track is suppose to follow along side the I-15. They may do the same they did on the I-40 by not installing rail road crossings, closing off many dirt roads to vehicles. But you can walk!

The BLM printed new rules on these supplement maps. If the dirt road is not posted "open" with a sign, it's considered "closed" and you can be fined up to $1000 and 1 year in jail. Jails are full so I wouldn't worry about that. But they will take your money for sure!
