Nice pearl. What stones are with it? Garnet?

The photo looks pretty well lit to me. Possibly a white card to throw just a little more light on the bottom side. Can you set the size of the photo on your camera? Smaller pic with a single background. Just my opinion. I am not a jewelry photographer. Jim

Just occurred to me that the outside could be cropped to get rid of the white area. My mind is slow to react sometimes. Jim

Thanks Jim I am going to give that a try. I thought about how I could use my light box for better night pics but haven't figured out or had time to as of yet

The ring is a beauty. Great pic, just suggest cropping it. Jo

That's a beauty. I like the combination of the garnets with the pearl.

Hey guys, Thanks for all the advise it was very helpful.. The ring is something I came up with on my own last winter while I was snowed in ,trying to figure out how to get a cab into a ring that was my own design. It works for both beads and cabs beads and is fairly simple, I have it down to about 5-7 minutes. I'll take pics at other angles and post soon ( Kids have the flu so it might be a day or two ) Jody

Jody you might try using a photo editing program to help resize and sharpen pics as well as crop out useless background items. I use one called photoscape which is a free download as is another one called irfanview. I find it much better than using the paint program. Beautiful work!
