I have a few pieces that I got a fairly good deal on. Was not cheap exactly, but I did get to handpick the pieces form several dozen at the same price. I figure I got the best, so I beat the price curve a bit.
I will try to remember to take some pics.

Looking forward to seeing the results. I saw some rough years back at a show but never a finished piece. That fire looks pretty neat.

Anyone else have opal and how much us it worth What kind of opal? There are about 300 types of opal. I have a lot of common opal from Central Nevada, and some opal from Northern Nevada. Also have a piece of clear red opal from Mexico. Like so many stones how much they are worth can vary a lot depending on a variety of factors.
