For once; I simply have no idea what to call it otherwise than except maybe "Free-form Doddles". LOL Its a Leopard Skin Jasper that was kindly given to me by Sara a few months back. Because of its reputation to be brittle and hard to finish, I would not buy it for myself, but as it was given, I had to try something with it. After the sword a few days ago, I don't really wanted to go back to do a simple cab, but I thought it should be something that can be worn straight off the finish, and I wanted some shape that challenges the brittleness. So I slowly got into it, only to mess up my cut for the upper portion. The first 3 or 4 levels where supposedly interlocking rings. But with my stupid mistake, that was impossible to recover. So I decided to continue on with the reduced requirement keeping everything as round as possible. Here is a montage of a "Walk-around": Some shadow-play with different natural lighting and back-ground And finally,.... My favorite shot Thanks for looking, All the best for the rest of the Holidays.

if you did a mirror image carving of that and put a hole in the other end too it could be a custom necklace with some fancy way to join them in the center!

well it don't have to be exact but close to make one cool necklace.
I have a bunch of lepidolite that I want to do some kind of custom necklace stations linked together - just have not got the fire to do it yet.
your monster has some sparkes toward the inspiration though!
