Well Christmas is over so it's back to the studio & work LOL
I had sketched this design some time ago. On a pad I keep next to my recliner in the den just for doodling ideas. So on Mon. I decided to gice it a try. If I do another one I'll try casting it. Carving tuffa stone would certainly be easier than all the cutting, fitting & soldering of the wires. Frame is #10 1/2 round web is 20ga wire, backing is 24ga sheet. Spider is made sep. & soldered down. Legs are 18ga, cab cups are 3mm round & 4X6mm oval (cutting the stones that small was a pain( Note to self- next time make spider larger LOL Bolo slide is a standard IJS nickel one. Hope you enjoy it & thanks for looking.

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
