I found this green rock in a farmer's rock pile in NE lower Michigan. A friend of mine cut it on his rock saw, but it hasn't been polished. He thought it was probably green quartz, but he had never seen one like it before. His geologist son was home for Christmas and also thought it was quartz, but neither of them were completely sure.
