I've been looking and searching for a flat filing cabinet. The ones that architectural drawings are stored in. I just haven't wanted to spend the hundreds of dollars they cost. Well...I finally found a couple. These came from a fellow cleaning out a warehouse. He was an Engineer of sort and he gave me a heck of a deal. 10 bucks a drawer. (70 bucks for both cabinets) I bought a 5 drawer and a smaller 2 drawer. The larger one is huge, heavy and I hope I never have to move it again. This is what i spent my New Years night doing. Filling up the drawers. just a couple teasers for ya. Maybe I'm a little OCD with organizing and cleanliness. I love em' though! steve

Those are perfect! You can find what you want easily and that really makes a difference! I recently Organized my slabs by color/material, thinking that would help. Still can't find what I am looking for when I want to find something quickly...I will have to keep a lookout on the trash that is going out of the office space upstairs...Lots of furnishings and cabinets. Just not the right kind yet that I have seen. Fran

Thats a great way to store the slabs, the only hard part would be choosing one to work on.

The 2nd picture are actually all nodules ready to be polished. 2 drawers of Mexican Agate Nodules, and 2 drawers of mostly Laguna Slabs. Still figuring out how to fill the other 3. If I would've had room for all 4 units i would've bought them. The fellow wanted me to take them all and told me to resale them. If they weren't so heavy i would have done so. steve
