I tried to screw this one up several times, but in the end I think it came out pretty good.

The coral came from Ted (Tandl) and I think this would be more of a display knife, rather than a utility knife.

I read this some place and it seem to work for me: Do not polish brass more than 3,000 grit. I also use masking tap on bolster when polishing scales. Mike

You might try hand polishing the brass with rouge on chamois. Rub rub rub. Tape the scales with painters masking tape.
