I tried to screw this one up several times, but in the end I think it came out pretty good. The coral came from Ted (Tandl) and I think this would be more of a display knife, rather than a utility knife. Thanks for looking! John PS- Thanks for the photography hints. I think these photos are much better.

Awesome job John! And better pics to boot. Try using two lights, one on each side of the subject.

Thank everyone! The brass has a mirror finish, but there are still lines in it. Is that due to its composition? John

Another knife guy! I always admire the finished knives that people here make, & yours is no exception.

Beautiful finish on this knife. 110 is some model # I suppose, not your 110'th knife, right? Otherwise, Ken's supremacy might be in danger Adrian

Adrain, LOL Ken's supremacy will remain intact. 110 is Buck's signature knife and they claim it is the most copied knife in the world. John

John Knife and scales look great. I read this some place and it seem to work for me: Do not polish brass more than 3,000 grit. I also use masking tap on bolster when polishing scales. Mike

Great fit and finish. You might try hand polishing the brass with rouge on chamois. Rub rub rub. Tape the scales with painters masking tape.
