If anyone remembers the halite I posted a while back. I tried to take a picture of the deposit where it came from. It didn't turn out well, but I'll try to get another picture tonight. This is a deposit of halite(the chunky bluish chunks) and carnalite(the yellow stuff. This is over 3000 feet under ground. I need a better camera...lol.

Your camera is fine, you just need a lot more light!
So, do your ears pop when you go down that deep?

Yes the ears pop a few times on the way down at 1000 feet per minute.

I can't imagine working that far underground. Is the halite the main product of the mine?

The main product is potassium chloried. The halite is waste.
