Wow, I'm envious... camping in January, open water to fish, (nice bass!) and a slug of beautiful rocks to boot! Looks like a perfect weekend, thanks for the photos!

I love seeing the pictures of your outings!!! That last find is SOOOOOO COOL!!!
Something about AZ is magical to me. When the kids grow up and start their own families..... Patrick and I just might have to move down there!!!

Looks like a nice haul and a great trip. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I sure am jealous of your rock vision. I've been to Alamo Lake but didn't find much of anything although I probably didn't go to the right area for hounding.

A normal person would go home if the fish weren't biting. Sure is nice to be a rock hound to occupy our time. Your collection is great but that "find of the day" is outstanding!

Beautiful scenery and cool rocks, what more can you ask for. Nice catch too. You probably used my patented fish finder method: Get rock Throw rock Listen, hear a "sploosh"?, that's where the fish are. Don't hear a "sploosh"?, no fish in there. Retrieve rock and try again. Works every time.
Love those tailgate shots. I got to say, your yard rock is another man's treasures. Beautiful colors and patterns. That white looking moss/plume one in the second the the last pic is the winner for me. Looks awesome. Steve

ROFL - "cool temps"... You're wearing outside what I've been wearing inside Brian! Oh well, maybe someday I'll live there.
The rocks are outstanding! What do you think the inside of the brainy looking one looks like?

Nice trip ! Last one is great , but there looks to be potential in alot of those , the rocks are so clean there . put a live minnow on a slip bobber bout two feet off the bottom in the deeper parts
