My Allen Key became absolutely, jammed, stuck in the tiny nut that screws into the arbor... My husband tried removing the Allen Key but no go...we took some spray too it, and that worked, but it happened again, and I said...No way man this can't happen again. The answer - so darn simple a screw an 8x32x 1/2 Putting laps on and taking them off...effortless now, and the arbor absolutely does not slip. The one draw back..you cannot use this method when u are using the saw...for that you must put the little nut back in ( I bought a 4 pack of them too) Mary Attachments:

The little nut thing is actually called a set screw. Nice to hear they are an American thread not metric.

I went ahead and purchased the master disc and arbor nut assembly for each of my diamond discs and the arbor nut assembly for the saw blade so I never need to take apart any of them, just simply change them out. Made life much easier
