Did a quick search for "Amber-Werx.com" and didn't come up with anything on the forum. So, quick question to y'all - has anyone done business with this company? www.amber-worx.com. Specifically, they claim they can resurface used wheels: www.amber-werx.com/wheels/index.shtml. I ran across them in a very old post (date 2007) from another rock club and was curious to see if anyone had feedback. Thanks Paul

If you belong to the Searchers they tried resurfaced wheels from the company in your area. Ask Herb Beckman how bad they turned out. I have not heard anyone talk about Amber-Werx.

Has anyone used Johnson Brothers yet?? They offer this service. I have no idea as to the quality but for other tools and supplies they seem to be reasonable.

Christopher, I've not used Johnson Bros. for their wheel surfacing service, but I have ordered parts/supplies from them. Yes, the prices were low, but the service was terrible. I would hesitate to ask them to resurface wheels.

My only experiences with this outfit has been at shows. There is a new fella running the booths for the last year or so. The person that used to be the face of this company to me, used to be a pretty good person. Actually the younger new guy seems genuine also. I have no idea how there mail order service is though.

My experience with resurfacing wheels produced good cutting wheels that were much stiffer than the originals............wife did not like them at all.
