My son Peyton has been asking for a knife ever since I made the first one. He picked out the rock and helped a bit. It is a Buck 379 made in China, but small and only one blade. Something he can destroy whittling on rocks and sticks ;D i961.photobucket.com/albums/ae91/Kendal109/pk2001.jpg[/IMG]Thanks for looking. John

Thank you guys so much! Peyton loves the knife, but he is drilling holes in a piece of wood right now. I just want him to enjoy and learn to use it safely before it breaks or disappears. Then we will just make another one ;D ;D John

Nice job. I remember my first knife. The scar on my finger was my first too.

John that is a great job, love the colors, Peyton has good taste. Being an over protective old lady, those fingers are still very tiny. Sorry........... couldn't help it. Donna

Wow! Thanks again!!!! Ken and Donna, that knife was made from one of the slabs you gave me when I picked up the grinder ;D
To those that worry ;D, Peyton is in training with the knife. he does not get it full time until he proves he can be semi-responsible, but boys will be boys and I have a box of bandages ;D John

Beautiful knife and perfectly done. It shows your love for Peyton and your trust in his responsability. As others said before, he will surely cherrish it as a treasure, along with other treasures - less touchable but not a bit less valuable - which I'm sure you provide to him often.

I am grateful for the comments on the knife, but I am very, very touched by the love and support expressed for Peyton and I as father and son.
Just shows what you guys are truly all about.
Thank you all. John
