The photos were great, Cathy, thanks for sharing. The ones you took the sunset were particularly eye-catching! Paul

Beautiful places....makes me want to go to the U. P. and fine me a Greenstone!!! We loved Petoskey! We were there right after the ice was out and it was like a tropical paradise...in the Arctic! THAT is the time to "hunt the great Petoskey!"

Pretty pictures. I like the waterfall. Looks like you went a lot of places for rocks but where are the rocks?

You know, I wonder about that too! I have them all over the house, from all over the world. We've picked up rocks wherever we've been and kind of kept them as momentos. (That should so have an "e" before the "s." Ah well, progress.) Sometime in the future, when everything else has rusted away, those rocks are still going to be in a pile here and someone is going to have a great time theorizing how they got here...or deciding that there must have been some incredible prehistoric activity with all of the fossils and specimens...proving, once again that I live on the center of the planet! LOL!
I'll keep my eye open for them! Hope you're enjoying yours! They make great "Obje de geologie" for home decor!
Gotta get ready for work as it is Friday and that means rock grinding at the barn tonight!
