As I come along with my new found love of tumbling, I've also grown patience and extended my stages much longer. As far as recharging, say a 15lbs load, do I add a little water and do a full recharge or do you guys go a little lighter when you recharge. Currently using 1lbs for a 15lbs load on a fresh load.

I keep being told to completely clean and recharge, and weigh your rocks - 1# grit to 10# of rock (for the coarse stage, that is)

Wow! Complete clean and recharge? Oh well, devil makes work for idle hands. I thought the existing slurry helped with the process. BTW, nice trout or salmon. Can't tell from the small photo but I downrig for trout and ice them in the winter.
