Hey Jason,
If you invite Christopher to your claim, he'd have all those boulders dug out of the ground in about 1/2 hour! He is good at it and likes doing that.
That is some nice looking material. I enjoy working with rhyolite. Ever consider using a cordless impact drill along with feathers & wedges to split the big rocks? I've seen a few Gem Trail claims and you by far have the best one. Lots of good stuff.

One of my best purchases last year was a 8' x 8' hot tub. Got a killer deal on craigslist for only $300.
It is nice to soak after a long day of collecting.

One of my favorite rocks is and always will be Rhyolite! What a treat to see it in its natural setting!! Thanks so much for sharing your adventure. Hope you sell every last pound in Tuscon! Can't wait to see your next haul!!
