I am doing my coarse grinding in a qt66, I use both the 6# drums and a 12# drum. I'm using a lot-o tumbler for the rest of the steps. The lot-o works very well but I would like a bigger vibe so I can do some bigger slabs. I have a lortone vib flat lap but its messy and you have to watch it very close as it gets dry. What is everyone else using? I've been looking at the ultra vibe 10 or 18. Any suggestions? All help would be appreciated. Thanks KOBA

Randy uses the uv10. I have one with a spare bowl for polishing, but I haven't cut or tumbled enough that is ready to move into the vibe yet.

I have a UV18. It works great, but it takes a _lot_ of rock to keep it going.
Make sure to get the Industrial model. The regular ones can't handle the load.
