the bushings in 1 my 3 lb CE's just died and i had just recharged both barrels this morning....now i have 1 tumbler going....and 1 barrel sitting here recharged.
is it ok to just let the 1 barrel just sit idle for a few days...until i can make me some more bushings.
or do i need to rotate the barrels out daily...to keep the grit from maybe setting up on me?

If it's fresh grit & fresh water it should be OK to sit for a little while but if you just added more grit to a slurry, it will probably start to set up on you fairly quickly, like within hours of not moving. Usually you can loosen it up again by slowly rotating the barrel by hand end over end for a few minutes before putting it back on the rollers. I do this on a daily basis (sometimes twice) with my barrels while they are running to help to redistribute the stones in the barrel.

Sorry Kev, hope you get it fixed soon. It's always awful when a tumbler goes down but I don't think you need to worry over it sitting for a couple of days. If you are, give it a shake now and again till you get it back on.
