Here's a bola I made several years ago. The stone is coprolite and the backing is desert iron wood. I've had a lot of fun with this bola over the years. People admire the stone, and want to touch it, until I tell them it's dinosaur crap. Don

Occasionally you'll find a colorful piece that's solid enough to slab. The end nub and first slab fell apart, but I managed to get about 3 good slices, and saved the rest for a specimen piece.
