Kathy picked this rough up the last time we stopped at Elkin's Rock shop in Prineville, Oregon. It was in the two dollar a pound pile. It looks very much like a petrified wood, until you look at the end where one would expect to see cell stucture............instead, it looks more like a moss agate. Very similar to the wood from Three Rivers, TX. Nice piece!

That looks like some of the wood I've picked up in South Texas.
