If anyone know what they please let me know! I need all the help I can get! 1. This one is a piece of quartz with fine silvery threads in it. 2. Nodule of some sort 3. 4. 5. 6. Sunstone - very nice schiller in the two pieces I found. 7. B.O. 8. 9. This is much yellower than the pic shows. I am guessing sulpher. 10. This is the back of this peculiar piece. I am guessing it was tumbled. This is the front 11. Pretty little orange crystals. I know I've seen pics of this somewhere but I don't remember what it was. 12. This one seems to be coated with something & has little flashes in it. Really hard to see them though. 13. 14. 15. Sodalite? 16. Opal of some sort 17. Pretty little crystals 18. Neat quartz crystals

#1 I'd say rutilated quartz too. That variety is often called Thetis hair stone. #2 is a t-egg, could be a Baker egg, #3 is Janos Agate aka rainbow agate, #4 Laguna #5 Moctazuma agate, #12 Honduras matrix fire opal, #14 may be one of the sagebrush type jaspers found at several places in Wyoming, those last opals are the jelly type fire opals in rhyolite out of Mexico....Mel

Nice Donnie! I think that Moctezuma is going to be super nice. Full face pattern and maybe some pinks when sliced. I think #10 might be Botswana. Looks like the rest have been covered. steve

Okay I scratched the yellow one & the smell reminded me of matches so I guess it is sulphur. The Moctezuma is small but I should get a couple of little slices from it. Lowell, I know you like to collect rocks - when I slice the Janos would you like a piece of it or the end or something?

Here's a couple more pictures of #10, which is a very interesting piece. It's curved with a big ball at the end.

well in that picture it is not fire agate like I thought, but it still is cool looking if I had that I would just polish it all up and use it as a display piece because of its natural shape

The colors don't look right for a Montana on that one, so I take it back. I do have several Montanas with that mammary shape, though.
