It's beautiful. I like it better than wire-wrapping. It shows off the stone without so much metal in the way. Everybody has a drill press and a soldering torch, they just need to get it out of the garage and figure out how to use it. I hope to do something like this and have a pendant to post (and wear) within 2 months so I truly appreciate the inspiration. I've had these tools for over a decade so I have to set a deadline for myself and actually do it.

Given the translucency (is that a word) of MA, I think this is a great option. If you had epoxied something to the back (what I like to do now) - it would have shown through.
