It is an agate they treat to get the dark banding. Not sure where the rough is originally from or what it looks like. I think it was produced by The Gem Shop in WI, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I understand this came from Brazil (I could be wrong though), and it is heat treated to increase the contrast of the bands.

That is one outstanding wrap. Glad you didn't have that submitted for the cab wrap competition. I've said I don't like enhanced stones but I can make exceptions can't I...lol ;-)
