I am still learning the intricacies of using Silver Filled wire. I just does not act the same as half hard Sterling. I like the look I just need to learn the "touch" of working with this wire. Chrysocolla from the Planet Mine area Thanks for looking, Christopher

Beauty of a cab and the wire takes a lot of practice. Yours is not bad!
if you want to dress up the cross over wires and can get them loose without breaking them, try twisting them and reattach

Wow, that is beautiful. I wonder if any of my material from that Planet Mine trip is as good. I understand about the silver filled wire being different from sterling silver wire. I use mostly dead soft sterling and find I don't like using the silver filled wire I bought because it is so much different to work with for me.

Me too Diane...now I know I am not alone in my experience with this type of wire. Sterling is much more ductile and natural feeling for me.

Cool piece Christopher. I love the cab. The sire isn't that bad. I like Diane's idea, it would hide the imperfections in the weave.
Is this wire softer than sterling?

To me it looks like a delicate female face wrapped in a scarf. I mean just the outline, I'm not seeing eyes and nose. The top of the wrap captures what I see perfectly.
