A "Magnum Hydro", the 24" at the local rock club shop is the same manufacturer. It has a screw feed and a air cylinder. The lever sticking out the side has a clamp on the inside to hold a piece of grindstone so you can sharpen the blade while making a cut. The threaded holes on the edge of the vice are there are there for tapered head screws so you can use it as a slab grabber to get the last slab off an end cut. After you clean out the threads put in some set screws to keep the rock snot out of the threads when you're clamping rocks in the vice. A pretty impressive design

With the dried rock snot this one has, I would take it outside, turn it on it's side, and put the pressure washer to it. Then get it dry as fast as possible. This is a very good starting point for a very good saw.
I am sure you will have a few cooking hot days coming up soon, and one of those would be a good time to do the power clean.

Cool saw! I like the idea of threaded holes in the end of the vise, I may have to add that to my vise when I resume my build.
